Durham Library Fest: Eats & Treats
The Durham County Library is partnering with multiple local businesses to promote its Library Fest event. Library Fest coincides with National Library Week and showcases several of Durham County Library’s programs through special events and promotions. The following food vendors are selling library-inspired limited release items to celebrate.

DJ Night Fundraiser for Affordable Housing
Housing for New Hope is hosting a Rent Party dance night at The Fruit in downtown Durham on Thursday, April 20. Tickets start at $17.50 and benefit people who recently experienced homelessness and are now transitioning into permanent housing, but still need financial assistance to make monthly ends meet. All-You-Can Eat Pasta Buffet Benefiting the Inter-Faith Council
The Inter-Faith Council is holding its Pasta with a Purpose fundraiser on the evening of May 10th at the Carolina Club in Chapel Hill. For $14, attendees can partake in an all-you-can-eat pasta buffet. Reservations can be made at 919-962-1101.
Special Fundraiser for Affordable Housing, May 16
On May 16, CASA North Carolina will hold its second annual Day of Giving fundraiser. Donations made up to the end of the fundraiser will be matched by benefactors. Donors can contribute to the goal at https://www.casanc.org/openingdoors/donate/
